About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President for Franchise Sales Development to join their upscale brands team. This role is pivotal in achieving and surpassing growth targets by focusing on the conversion of existing hotels, adaptive reuse of unique and historic buildings, and sourcing new construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the Market Area Strategic Business Plan, building a robust pipeline of prospective franchisees, and managing the sales process from contract to approval. This includes fostering internal relations, collaborating with various departments, and representing the company at industry events. The role demands a high level of experience in consultative and value-based sales, exceptional acumen in feasibility strategy and real estate, and the ability to perform competitive and SWOT analyses.Applicants for this remote-based position should have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and 3-5 years of successful hospitality franchise sales and/or hotel development/real estate transaction experience. A history of highly successful business-to-business sales, particularly in a complex, multi-faceted process, is also considered. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM applications is desirable, along with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals, strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time. The role requires excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, as well as a deep understanding of the hotel industry and competitive brands. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to collaborate across organizational lines and must live within or be willing to relocate to the Pacific Coast market area.
