Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and presenting data to support the business team's decision-making processes. You will produce detailed reports, visualizations, and actionable insights to drive our company forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Extract and compile data from our database to generate comprehensive reports.
Create and maintain dashboards, graphs, and visualizations to present data insights.
Develop and automate regular and ad-hoc reports in various formats, including CSV files.
Collaborate with the business team to understand reporting needs and requirements.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in reports.
Assist in the development of data models and predictive analytics to forecast future trends.
Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve business performance.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the legal or medical industry.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data manipulation tools.
Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
Familiarity with Postgres and SQL.
Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
