Description

The Nanotronics Frontend UX/UI Developer is a smart, creative and passionate member of the AIPC Software team, who actively contributes to the development of the world’s ultimate integrated manufacturing platform. This position will be responsible for updating the existing software interface with additional features and making substantive suggestions for aesthetic choices and development frameworks.

Salary Range: $119-256k per year

Requirements

Education and Experience

At least 7 years of UI/UX experience in a professional or educational setting

Experience launching a fully realized, self-started UI/UX project (not a tutorial) or one in a professional setting

Industrial/automotive background a plus

Must submit portfolio with your application

Required Skills

Deep understanding of customer psychology and ability to respond to their needs

Ability to employ discretion needed when communicating with customers

Flexibility to work with multiple customers from different industries and pivoting quickly according to varying needs

Demonstrable experience with Adobe suite, SQL/PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, C#, Java, JavaScript

Deep understanding of UI application, framework development, and UI/UX principles

Ability to make complex software intuitive, cohesive and elegant

Fluency with full stack development elements

Eagerness to learn new front-end frameworks to better suit the final product

Bold design sensibility, creative and detailed oriented

Ability to initiate work independently and to lead development of UX

Ability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required

Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability

Good problem-solving skills

Willingness to grow into a managerial role

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to efforts to create scalable experience design standards and improve design processes

Design interactive, easy, intuitive, and straightforward interfaces that increase the ease and enjoyment of using our products

Develop front-end web applications using HTML, CSS, C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL/PostgreSQL

Develop visualization experiences

Assess and prioritize client feature requests

Coordinate and address problems with back-end developers

Improve functionality and accessibility of existing systems

Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

Conduct user tests to observe behavior both in-person and by using UX toolsets and metrics

Wireframing of data visualizations to make more user-friendly and intuitive

Create Photoshop layouts, graphic designing
