Job Description Job Description We’re looking for leadership-oriented individuals to join our Fast Track Management Program. In this program, you’ll have the chance to accelerate your path to management, and advance within 12 months. In the Fast Track Management Program, you’ll start as a financial professional to gain hands-on experience. Once you have met the program requirements, you’ll be able to transition into management as an Associate Partner. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing your own team of financial professionals. You’ll also be enrolled in the Associate Partner Training Program, an intensive, six-month program that will develop you and prime you for success as a manager.
Eligibility requirements:
MBA completion within the previous 24 months or Prior management experience
Preferred but not required to apply:
Life and Health License
FINRA registrations; Series 6 or 7 and Series 63
Previous sales experience
Compensation: $150,000+ commission based
Responsibilities: Lead our sales team by setting a sales plan for each sales representative, identifying individual sales targets, assigning sales territories, and overseeing training programs to make sure they’re successful
Outline our sales strategies and objectives to ensure we make our sales goals
Maintain long-lasting customer relationships and manage customer complaints to ensure we are meeting their needs
Identify new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs to keep us growing
Evaluate the team’s sales performance and offer advice on continuous improvement
Recruit business-minded & achievement-oriented individuals to help develop New York Life's presence in the San Diego community
Qualifications: Displays a proven track record of sales success
Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
At least 3 years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department
