Role And Responsibilities
Perform semiconductor engineering research, design, development, and/or testing for firm products and/or devices for use in the electronic communication industry. Research, design, develop, and/or test electronic circuits and/or components. Research, design, develop, analyze and/or test electronics system requirements, capacity, cost, and/or customer needs to determine project feasibility. Ensure product and/or device quality and/or manufacturing readiness by identifying and/or implementing improvements within the design, development, release, and/or manufacturing of the product or device. Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. (Multiple Openings)
Skills And Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and two years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
For either combination of education and experience, position requires 2 years of experience with the following skills:
Low Power design, power projection, analysis and optimization; and Analysis of RTL design or RTL design flow (coding and debug)
At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package
and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you
grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between
$225,541.00 to $245,541.00. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may
include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
Samsung employees have access to benefits including: medical, dental, vision, life
insurance, 401(k), free onsite lunch, employee purchase program, tuition assistance
(after 6 months), paid time off, student loan program, wellness incentives, and
many more. In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible
for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual
performance.
Additionally, this role might be eligible to participate in long term incentive plan and
relocation.
