Description
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 (Five) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Developer, Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Angular or React; Cloud Services such as AWS or Azure; Java; JSON; Maven; Oracle; UNIX; JavaScript; Microservices; REST; Shell Scripting; Splunk; GIT; Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines; Jenkins; REST web services; Spring Boot Framework; Linux; Software Development; SQL; XML; Data and Quantitative Analytics; Large-scale Java systems development; AutoSys and batch processing systems; PII and PCI compliance applications; and Data warehouse.
Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $195,000.00-$260,000.00 per year.
