ECI is seeking an Implementation Specialist to continue to provide the best in ERP software solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.

The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for implementing ECI’s ERP software package for the Lumber/Building Materials industry and provide post-production consulting. The implementation specialist will be responsible for implementation tasks including facilitating software setup/configuration training with end users, provide technical consultation, conduct pre-production review, provide on-site go-live assistance, and assist with post-production support.
This position may be remote office.
Responsibilities:
Implement Spruce and RockSolid MAX according to the ECi’s standard methodology.
Provide expertise and consulting of Spruce and RockSolid Max software modules to new and existing customers to continually improve their process and optimize their use of the package.
Manage the delivery of complex, small to medium business/IT project initiatives.
Lead ERP implementations of Spruce and RockSolid Max and/or act as team member of ECi implementation team on the project
Analyze business processes of client and provide workable solutions for Spruce and RockSolid Max to the business need.
Install, configure, and train on Spruce and RockSolid Max
Develop training documentation as needed.
Mentor other implementation specialists
Perform other duties including, but not limited to: User conference materials and presentations, team meetings, knowledge base updates, and methodology improvements.
Manage administrative tasks including: weekly time sheets, recap reports, and expense reports in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.
Ability to travel up to 50% for multi-day customer engagements, prior travel-related experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Education & Experience:
Understand common industry business practices in retail sales, B2C, operations, distribution, and finance.
2+ years of ERP hands-on, full-life cycle project implementation experience with comparable ERP software as a consultant, implementation specialist, support specialist or end user (preferably with Spruce or other Lumber/Building Material/Hardware ERP system)
2+ years leading or managing ERP implementations or other ERP related project management or customer support experience.
Understand ERP application concepts and software usage in the vertical
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server a plus
Experience with Dashboard reporting a plus
Experience with Certinia/SalesForce a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Windows

Process improvement experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or accounting and/or IT related field
Alternately, an Associate’s degree and 3+ years relevant experience in the industry
