Responsibilities will include: handling business users support requests; trouble-shooting issues, escalating and following up on system defects and service requests; performing system testing when necessary. This position is part of the IT department and will work closely our technology delivery partners to provide support to key users in the Customer Experience and Underwriting departments, and from our MGA partners.Troubleshoot and analyze policy administration system issues for multiple lines of business.Assign defects to delivery partners and work with them to ensure that issues are addressed in a timely manner.Follow-up on system defects and service requests, and escalate when necessary.Work with the team to resolve downstream issues.Work with the QA team members to improve quality and crate test scenarios to identify issues before they move to production.Perform QA testing on Production policies using our Clone environment, prior to release moving to Production to ensure the stability of the release.Work close with our Regulatory Reporting Unit to address reporting issues.Work with the Customer Experience, UW and Compliance departments to prioritize the correction of key issues and provide available workarounds when appropriate.Develop business requirements for addressing defects and delivering small system enhancements.Review and approve solution designs on incident resolution and perform system testing as needed.Develop user guides for critical functionality and deliver user training when appropriate.Manage expectations with impacted users and create status reports when appropriate.Prioritize the scope of future monthly and emergency releases.Equal Opportunity EmployerCoaction is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
