Job Responsibilities

You will support Burke County Health Department by utilizing your expertise to fulfill the following responsibilities while under supervision:

Plans organize, and manages the operation of the

billing functions, such as preparation and distribution of invoices,

third-party payers, preparing claims, working denials, and posting cash

receipts. Analyzes complex billing data and prepares reports for revenue

and expenses and other statistical data.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED AND one year of experience in billing, budget,

or accounting activities.

DPH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
