The Lead Automation Engineer will be at the forefront of driving Zelis’ automation initiatives to new heights. Expertise in automation technologies and a solid understanding of Azure cloud technologies and advanced document processing methodologies, will be critical in revolutionizing our product offerings. The Lead position is centered around employing a mix of these core competencies to devise intelligent, iterative automation solutions that significantly enhance customer interactions and streamline document processing and analysis. This role is crucial not only in problem-solving but in redefining user experiences within our services through cutting-edge automation and seamless Azure cloud integration.

Key Responsibilities

Spearhead the development of Python-based automation initiatives within our ITSM framework, with a special focus on leveraging Azure cloud services and enhancing document understanding capabilities to optimize operations and service delivery.

Craft and execute sophisticated algorithms for in-depth document analysis and processing, utilizing Python to boost the functionality, efficiency, and intelligence of our solutions hosted on the Azure cloud platform.

Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement and innovation, aiming to elevate user experiences by harnessing the power of Python, Azure cloud services, and cutting-edge document understanding technologies.

Actively participate in the exchange of knowledge and best practices, embracing and championing the adoption of emerging technologies and tools, especially those related to the latest developments in document understanding and cloud computing, to ensure our team remains at the forefront of industry innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years programming experience with any of the following languages: C#, VB, Python, OR UiPath, demonstrating significant contributions to automation projects.

Advanced proficiency in developing and integrating with web APIs, with a strong preference for those experienced in RESTful services.

Interpersonal and collaboration skills, especially in technical projects involving cloud technologies and document understanding platforms. The ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams is paramount.

Demonstrated capability in automating processes and workflows, showcasing a solid understanding of automation's impact on efficiency and productivity.

A solid background in utilizing Azure hosted infrastructure stack, indicating a comfortable navigation through cloud-based environments.

Proficiency in Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum/Kanban, with a track record of successfully implementing these frameworks to streamline development processes and enhance team productivity.

Preferred Proficiencies

Relevant professional certifications, underscoring a commitment to excellence and a mastery of industry standards.

Advanced proficiency in document understanding, indicating a keen ability to process, analyze, and derive valuable insights from complex documents.

Experience utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence, demonstrating an adeptness in project management and team collaboration.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent relevant experience.
