POSITION SUMMARY

Elektrofi is looking for a Translational Scientist/ Senior Scientist to support the development of the novel Elektrofi formulation platform. The individual will join a growing, multidisciplinary team of scientists/engineers and contribute to a variety of in vitro and in vivo activities in a highly collaborative environment focused on drug product translation. Drug product translation at Elektrofi means identifying CQAs and setting specifications for these CQAs based on translational data (pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, local tolerability, and efficacy). The individual will join a growing, multidisciplinary team of scientists/engineers and industry professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Help identify, catalog, and characterize drug product critical quality attributes in the context of translational read-out

Work closely with the Translational team and other internal groups such as Formulations, Analytical, Process, and Quality to produce test articles for Translational studies

Support Target Product Profile (TPP) specification setting

Author SOPs, methods, and technical reports

Plan, execute, document, and analyze experiments, and present the results thereof to a multidisciplinary team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required: M.S. with 5+ or Ph.D with 2-4+ years of applicable industry experience in Immunology, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Science, or other relevant disciplines

Strong in vitro and in vivo translational experimental design and bioanalytical method development background

Excellent critical thinking abilities plus exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced R&D environment

Additional relevant skills and attributes include:

A strong background in the protein critical quality attributes

Deep knowledge of innate immunology and adaptive immunogenicity, including anti-drug antibodies (ADA) and dermal pathophysiology

Blood cell isolation, flow cytometry, Luminex profiling, ELISA, immunohistochemistry (IHC), confocal microscopy, and any other related common immunology tools/assays

Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated documentation experience
