About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Chief Architect to define and lead the architectural future vision of technology within its Chief Operating Officer organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and management of the organization's architecture, with a focus on commerce, marketing, sales, customer success, finance, data, and AI systems. This role requires expertise in ensuring that the architecture meets the desired quality attributes, creating technology roadmaps, and leading the team in aligning technical direction with business needs. The Vice President, Chief Architect will also mentor and build a team of Architects, champion modern development practices, and collaborate with other Chief Architects to drive technical alignment across the company.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in leading architecture and/or engineering, with a strong background in SaaS, product, or technology companies. An enterprise architecture leadership role with a focus on .COM, commerce, and backend services is essential. The role demands a candidate with a BS or MS in engineering or computer science, advanced certifications being a plus, and a proven track record of inspiring both business and technical alignment. Strong understanding of business processes, digital transformation, and experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern software development lifecycles is also required. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader, a proponent of systems thinking, and will embody the values of the company's corporate culture.
