What is the Interior Design & Property Development Coordinator experience?
This role will work in areas vital to the property development environment and will have the ability to work in tandem with senior leaders and support staff to achieve goals and objectives utilizing design and customer service/administrator skills. In this role, you are expected to:
Utilizes design skills in both technical and creative areas to design interior spaces that meet demand requirements - not just aesthetically, but in terms of safety, accessibility, and sustainability.
Provides on-going space planning, determines interior furniture and finish selections and perspective drawings that create and meet a lifestyle goal for the resident or organization.
Updates construction and product inventory, as well as specifications data and drawings
Work closely with the Resident Liaison and vendors to meet goals.
Ownership of projects, including organizing current and historical drawings in both physical and digital formats, coordinating unit 10-year refresh projects, coordinating installations, and researching code, products, and design details as requested.
Provide assistance to existing and incoming residents on transition arrangements.
Other duties as assigned.
What are the job qualifications?
Minimum 3 years of experience working as a participant or lead on project teams, preferably to include work in the construction industry and coordinating with both internal and external contributors.
Bachelors Degree in Interior Design is required.
Must be knowledgeable about space planning, building codes, and ADA requirements.
Must have demonstrated ability to quickly understand and attain competency of complex technical subject matter.
Must be deadline oriented.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to maintain composure while under pressure and remain flexible.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, as well as ACAD/Revit or other drafting/design software.
Must consent to and pass a criminal background check

Pay range: $25.96 - $33.89, depending on experience
