Description
At Chick-fil-A, Leaders are responsible for assisting the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. Leaders are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and will be assigned to open or close the restaurant, following established opening and closing procedures. Leaders may also have other additional minor responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include:
Primarily, leading the charge to create and develop Ambassadors and Raving Fans by assisting the Director and leadership team in oversight of the entire operation
Assisting the Director of Operations with the hiring and onboarding process.
Assisting in the maintenance of a food safety culture in the kitchen by ensuring proper training and compliance with all food safety systems.
Growing and improving efficiency in kitchen operations.
Overseeing all cleaning and maintenance of facilities and equipment in conjunction with the Operations Director.
Reducing food waste.
Collaborating with leaders and/or lead the plan and execution of any large catering orders.
Maintaining a positive working relationship and treating all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
Communicating employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management and assists in appropriate handling.
Strictly adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
Completing any other duties given by the Director or Operator.
Be willing to work shifts on the kitchen line and be involved in day-to-day operations.
Having an in-depth understanding of the Chick-fil-A brand.
