Position Overview:
Join our dynamic team as Director of Marketing, where you will help spearhead the evolution of our luxury travel brand's positioning and media presence. Team Management:
Manages internal creative team, interns and outside contractor resources when needed
Manages Marketing Reporting and Data Analyst, ensuring effective data analysis and reporting processes for internal marketing initiatives and partner campaigns.
Manages Manager, Email and Communications
Works closely with:
VP, Marketing
Account Managers, Product Marketing
Manager, Marketing: Digital and Social
Manager, Marketing: Education and Engagement
Marketing Strategy
Assists VP in determining and leading campaign strategies for corporate, brand, and product initiatives.
Assists VP in management and oversight of PR and Paid Media tactics.
Reporting and Communication:
Ensures agreed-upon internal reporting is completed and delivered on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Determines content/design of reporting for ease of communication to leadership- executive wrap up.
Calendar Management:
Maintains Master Marketing Calendar monthly, incorporating corporate brand messaging, seasonal campaigns, PD campaigns, Co-Op, across all internal functions.
Traffic and Production Management:
Acts as Traffic/Production lead for all incoming work from internal marketing partners and cross-functional teams.
Ensures job requests are assigned to appropriate team/creative resource and provides timeline to stakeholders to manage expectations.
Media Plan Oversight:
Maintains oversight of Consortia and Trade media plan deliverables, ensuring relevant campaigns and offers in the market are pulled through.
Coordinates plans with Email, Social, and PR efforts.
Product Marketing Allocation:
Assists VP with Product Marketing Allocation and planning after plans are complete, ensuring co-op plans are incorporated where needed.
Campaign Management
Oversees start of larger projects/campaigns, ensures creative briefs are completed, timelines are met, and action items are delivered.
Campaign Marketing Calendars:
Updates and Designs Campaign Marketing Calendars for Presentation/Leadership Distribution
Contract Management:
Ensures Marketing tool contracts are evaluated, renewed, and budgeted each year on an ongoing basis, managing relationships with contractors.
Budget Oversight:
Oversees status of Co-op budgets and recovery, ensuring budgets are reconciled and proof of performance reports are delivered to partners.
Data Analysis and Segmentation:
Evaluates and optimizes all reporting tools, data processes, and insights with Marketing/Data Analyst.
Oversees data segmentation work and targeting tools with Marketing/Data Analyst, Email/Comms manager, and Social Media Manager.
Coordination and Support:
Assists VP in coordination of meetings, events, outings, and larger team initiatives.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Proven track record 10+ years in marketing strategy roles, operations and production experience, preferably within the luxury travel industry or related sectors.
Experience leading teams
Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide strategic support and guidance to the VP and marketing team.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to derive actionable insights from marketing metrics.
Experience in calendar management and campaign coordination, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and messaging.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and implement solutions proactively.
Proficiency in marketing tools and technologies, with the ability to evaluate, implement, and optimize systems as needed.

Terms of Employment: Hours: Full–Time Employment. 40+ hours per week
Pay rate: Annual Salary, Depending on Experience + Annual Bonus, Depending on Company and Individual Performance.
