Overview
Position Summary
You will be responsible for maintaining the company's networks, computer hardware, peripherals and software solutions to ensure the efficient and secure processing of member transactions.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
To succeed in this position, you must be able to satisfactorily perform common, uncommon and complex occurrences of each of the following under general supervision from your manager:
Design and administer effective and secure internal network and Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions.
Configure and install new employee desktop and laptop-based workstations and peripherals, including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephones, printers, tablets and smartphones, at the credit union's headquarters and branch locations.
Configure and install software packages, including operating systems and VoIP telephony applications, on employee workstations and peripherals.
Provide local and remote technical support/troubleshooting on employee workstations, peripherals and software in person and by telephone, email and helpdesk.
Maintain accurate inventory reports on hardware and software assets.
Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members. Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union's products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union's policies and procedures and current promotions.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications and Skill Requirements High School Diploma/GED AND Internal: minimum 2 years of work experience in a Representative III role; External: minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar role required. Certification in MCITP or MCSE, VCP, CCNA, A+ and/or Network+ preferred.
Proficiency with Windows 7, 8 and 10; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; Microsoft Active Directory; and anti-virus software required.
Proficiency in administering VMWare virtual environment and Storage Access Network required.
Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP and SMTP required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
Physical Requirements Physical activities include a combination of constant sitting and hand motion, and occasional standing and walking. These activities are not necessarily performed to the same degree and combination every day.
Must be able to bend at the knees and waist frequently and crawl under and around office furniture and equipment to install hardware and associated wires.
Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and a computer mouse and keyboard.
Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 25 lbs.

Salary Range: $31.80 - $44.78/hour
