Description
Researches, designs, and implements procedures to study individual school or divisionwide programs and projects; utilizes various data collection techniques to plan, design, and implement research studies; produces quantitative and qualitative analyses and reporting for Leadership decision-making; analyzes educational programs for school improvement; consults with and provides technical assistance to schools, regions, and central office administrators regarding evaluation and monitoring activities.
Qualifications
Required
Master's degree in a social science field such as educational research, educational evaluation, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
Five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience in educational research, assessment, and/or program evaluation.
Knowledge of program evaluation, methodology, advanced statistical analysis, qualitative, and quantitative research methods.
Knowledge of public education mission, organization, instructional goals, and curriculum practices.
Demonstrated proficiency in research design, data collection methods, and statistics.
Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with other school personnel and other administrators.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred Doctoral degree.
