As our Head of UX Design, you will be responsible for leading our UX design team and defining the strategic direction for all user experience initiatives. This senior role requires a combination of creative vision, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to enhance our product interfaces and ensure a seamless, intuitive user journey across multiple products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic UX visions to guide the design of intuitive and engaging user interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and loyalty.
- Actively design and prototype for a range of products, providing both high-level views and detailed attention to the user interaction.
- Champion user-centered design principles across the company, educating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design thinking is integrated into all product development processes.
- Conduct and oversee user research and usability testing, ensuring designs are based on solid user insights and feedback.
- Create and maintain scalable design systems that ensure consistency and efficiency in our products.
- Utilize metrics and user feedback to refine and optimize designs, continually enhancing user interfaces and experiences.
- Build and lead a team of UX designers, UI designers, and researchers. Mentor team members, fostering a collaborative, productive, and innovative design culture.
- Keep abreast of the latest UX design trends and technologies, integrating innovative design thinking and tools into the team's workflow.
- Establish and maintain a clear design vision for our products/services, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
- Oversee the design process from ideation to execution, upholding the highest standards for quality and innovation.
- Articulate the value of a design to stakeholders, securing buy-in for design initiatives
Experience and qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years in UX design, including substantial hands-on experience in crafting interfaces and user experiences.
- A robust portfolio that showcases deep strategic design thinking along with detailed examples of hands-on UX design work.
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead design projects and deliver solutions that improve user engagement and satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with other teams and stakeholders to integrate user-centered design into all phases of development
- Is a captivating storyteller, effectively presenting design concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A passion for customer centric design and a relentless focus on creating exceptional customer experiences
Bachelor's or master's degree in Design or a related field preferred
