Job Description Job Description The Company

Cerbo is a high-growth healthcare SaaS company, doing our part in the medical market to support holistic lifestyles and personalized medicine. Our software – Cerbo EHR – is a cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) and patient portal software system. Healthcare offices across the country – and some around the world – use Cerbo for most everything they do in their day-to-day. Cerbo originally started as a developer’s nights-and-weekends project. And has grown into one of the leading EHR systems for functional or “root cause” medicine and membership- or cash-based clinics. Because of our unique origins, we often approach things a bit differently. That is, success for us is not just about the bottom line. It’s more about providing a great product, operating with integrity, and supporting our clients and our team. During the past four years our team has grown and thousands of practitioners and patients use our product. To this end, we’re looking for a Chief Technology Officer to join our growing team.

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology. You will lead our technology division, driving innovation, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our EHR platform, and guiding our product development efforts. Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure optimal system performance.

Data Security and Privacy:

Implement robust data security measures to protect patient information and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Stay up-to-date with evolving security threats and best practices in healthcare data protection.

Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Interoperability:

Drive efforts to enhance interoperability with other healthcare systems and standardize data exchange protocols.

Collaborate with industry stakeholders and organizations to advance interoperability initiatives.

Help transition to or optimize their cloud infrastructure.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, develop, and lead a diverse high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Define success. Set clear goals and provide mentorship to team members.

Ensure alignment between the technical team and other departments.

Budget and Resource Management:

Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.

Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, and stay informed about changes in the regulatory landscape.

A proven leader with 8+ years in a senior technology leadership role within the healthcare or EHR industry.
