Cloud Engineer I

Cloud Engineer I will specialize in the creation, testing, and implementation of Azure supporting infrastructure at Trimark . They determine the company ’s technological needs and suggest solutions that meet them. They collaborate with the development team and other personnel to streamline application services.

The Team

You will report to our OT Engineering Manager and support our distributed Trimark Community across the US. You will collaborate closely across the organization with our technology, operations, and executive teams.

The Environment

This role can be successfully performed in Office-Based, Home-Based (US only), or Flex-Based work locations. You will work in a controlled office environment or from your Home-Based worksite, as well as virtually with your team members. Occasional travel to our corporate headquarters in Folsom, CA may be required for collaboration, training, and team building.

Your Key Contributions

Repair and recover from hardware, software and process failures.

Provide backup and recovery support and guidance for cloud resources.

The person supports the design, execution, rollout and evangelism of the cloud operating model.

Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems.

Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation.

Develop installation and monitoring tools for support and operations.

Work closely with Trimark devops teams to create/manage/maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.

Perform audit checks for security, process and resource compliance.

Contribute to training and customer support activities as needed.

Communicate fluently with business stakeholders, product managers, researchers, and developers.

Traits for Success

Bachelors Degree in computer engineering, computer science, engineering or information systems or equivalent experience.

Strong network design experience, including knowledge of VLANs, routing, firewalls.

Strong computing and scripting skills.

Able to work in an environment using Micrsoft Azure.

Familiar with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS solutions.

Pay Transparency

This announcement is open to Associate and Level I job levels. The base pay range for this position is $77,000-87,000/year, with starting salary typically in the low to mid-range for the job level. This is an overtime exempt position. Compensation is based on market rate, job level, job related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and certifications. This is a Full Time opportunity.
