The Company is looking for a full-time Cad Drafter to add to the team. We are looking for an ambitious candidate that is fluent in AutoCAD and has the ability to produce drawings under tight time constraints. Someone who knows how to prepare drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, blueprints, and sketches. Utilizes computer aided drafting software and other techniques, standards, and tools to prepare technical drawings. A Cad drafter should be able to coordinate and consult with engineers or designers to complete projects. They need to be very reliable, hardworking, and self-starter that enjoys a challenge. You would be joining an energetic team environment in our growing Houston office with potential for development and growth.
Requirements: Associates degree or Technical College training certificate in CAD, or, at least 2 years proven CAD Designer experience.
Previous structural design experience a plus
Proficient in AutoCAD
Strong writing/grammar skills
Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with Architects, Builders, and Owners
Demonstrated strong organization and time management, which includes the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects concurrently.
Must be willing to work overtime
Possesses leadership skills and team work attitude
Punctual, polite and professional manner required.
Detail oriented.
Strong attention to detail
