Technology Specialist I

Job Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls to the Support Center phone line. This requires active end engagement and partnership with the caller to resolve the issue or take appropriate next steps to resolve the issue. (50% of time)

Respond, resolve, or escalate technical Support requests submitted to the Support Center help desk ticket system. (45% of time)

Provide hardware technical support repair for Dell laptops, Dell desktops, and Copier devices. (5% of time)

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements

High School Diploma in General Studies (Required)

2+ years of Technical Support or equivalent support environment (Required)

2+ years of Previous experience working in the IT field (Preferred)

Ability to work a range of different work schedules

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac, and iOS Operating Systems

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration

Proficient knowledge of Dell laptop and desktop repair

Working knowledge of copier printer and scanner devices

Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-user skill levels

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Working knowledge of computer networking (TCP/IP)
