Advisory Engagement Manager

Work with one of the fastest growing Accounting Advisory and Asset Management firms in the area!
As an Advisory Engagement Manager , you'll be working with the advisory firm's leadership, the business development and sales teams, as well as the direct client to lead the onboarding process from proposal stage through project delivery. This would include tracking the progress of the project against the scope. These projects will be large and small scale accounting, finance, and tax projects.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the firm's leadership to manage client engagements
Partner with business development and sales in gain knowledge of the client and continue to foster the client relationship
Assist Sales team with business proposals and engagement outlook
Assist and advise internal sales team with generating additional opportunities for the firm to assist the client
Run the client onboarding process
Be the key point of contact in information collection / retrieval
Manage the client relationship throughout the project lifetime
Track and manage the project from scope of work through project delivery
Sit on monthly, quarterly, and annual client meetings acting as a board member and advisor
Act as a backup to Tax Manager, Advisory Manager, and Audit Manager as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required
7+ years of prior audit, accounting, and/or Tax Experience
Prior experience working directly with business development/sales and/or in a direct business development role is required
CPA or other certifications are a huge plus
