About the Role
The Vice President of Finance with a focus on Technology is a key leadership role that involves supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis team, Technology Leadership, and Executive Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Technology project tracking, reporting, and analytics, as well as managing cost-analysis and other financial duties. This position requires a strategic individual with a strong background in corporate finance or financial planning and analysis, particularly within the technology, financial services, or mortgage services sectors. The VP of Finance will be expected to build relationships with business leaders, develop detailed forecasting models, lead budget and forecast development, and prepare executive-level presentations on financial performance and key indicators.Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in a relevant financial role, with a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (an MBA is preferred). The role demands a deep understanding of accounting principles as well as concepts, exceptional critical thinking, and attention to detail. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, as is proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel and financial modeling. The VP of Finance will also be involved in the financial close process, business opportunity analysis, and the implementation of financial policies and processes as directed by the leadership.
