Harness Design & Install Manager - Level 5_

**Description:** Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in seeking a full\-time manager for the Harness Design and Installation team for the Integrated Fighter Group \(IFG\) in Fort Worth, Texas\.

**What You Will Be Doing**

A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft harness design problems\. Responsibilities for this position may include:

\- Electrical interconnect design including system interface integration, wire harness design, fiber optic harness design, coax cable definition, molded cable definition, and product support\.

\- Development of schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical wiring modifications\.

\- Utilization of established processes and tools to input required changes in the LM engineering database\.

\- Leadership responsibilities including mid\-year and annual performance reviews, career development and direction, timekeeping, etc\.

\- EVMS and CAM duties, as well as project scheduling, resource loading, and technical issue resolution

**Basic Qualifications:**

\- Bachelor's degree in Engineering

\- Knowledge of Design Tools including JEDI, Capital Logic, Catia V5 Computer Aided Design \(CAD\)

\- Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes

**Desired Skills:**

\- Experience in project schedule development and have ability to generate statements of work and basis\-of\-estimates

\- Experience leading a team of engineers, and ability to execute performance assessments and career development of team members

\- Experience with aircraft harness, wiring or cable design/schematics

\- Previous experience on IFG Program

**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Clearance Level:** Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
