Senior Staff Accountant_

Fort Worth

Summary of Job Purpose: The ideal candidate will provide management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial reports. The primary duties and responsibilities for this position include the following but others can be assigned:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Maintains and balances general ledger accounts in an ERP system by inputting data and maintains reconciliation reports.

+ Applies working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in daily tasks and working with internal auditors.

+ Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports including depreciation schedule and prepaid assets amortization schedule.

+ Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files as defined by company policy.

+ Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

+ Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial

+ information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.

+ Prepare internal financial statements and review for compliance with laws and regulations.

+ Assist with training accounting personnel, implementation of new accounting related software, and developing strategic processes for the benefit of the company.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or five years of related accounting experience

+ Good communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Demonstrated ability to lead a team
