About The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Portfolio Accountant to one of the top and fast-growing organizations based in Newton, MA

You will be reporting to the Controller of Portfolio Accounting
Senior Portfolio Accountant Responsibilities
Prepare, generate and review financial reports and supporting work papers monthly, quarterly, and annually on a GAAP basis. Analyze results.
Maintain the general ledger and prepare/review journal entries and general ledger account analysis.
Handle all financial aspects of several portfolios of senior living communities
Assist in the internal audit process, including updating internal control policies and testing
Senior Portfolio Accountant Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with 3.0 minimum GPA
3+ years of accounting experience
Proficiency with Property Management/Accounting software, Yardi preferred
