**Our Opportunity:**
Chewy seeks a highly motivated, analytical, and enthusiastic **Senior Financial Analyst** to join our rapidly growing Commercial Finance Consumables team. Combining an understanding of finance and practical knowledge of financial statements, while using data to make-and-drive decisions, this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive Chewy Consumables’ growth and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to convey recommendations and/or conclusions to leadership
+ Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance
+ Work cross-functionally with the broader Chewy finance team, the Chewy Consumables Merchandising Team, product team, marketing, supply chain, and accounting to fully understand the business, its customers, and overall operations
+ Actively participate in the strategic planning, target setting, and quarterly/annual planning processes
+ Effectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment
**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Management
+ 3+ years relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and grasp of financial statements
+ Financial analysis and modeling skills, and experience in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
+ Advanced Excel (i.e., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc.) and PowerPoint skills
+ Ability to think creatively, be a self-starter, work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines / prioritize changing workloads
+ Strong written and oral communication skills
**Bonus**
+ Experience with SQL coding, Tableau, Oracle ERP
