A Master's Degree may be substituted for 2 years’ experience. A PhD may be substituted for 5 years’ experience.
Required Experience: 15+ years of cybersecurity related experience
Description
PingWind is in search of a candidate with a minimum 15 years of cybersecurity related experience in one or more of the critical infrastructure sectors, and familiarity with the legal and regulatory cybersecurity frameworks associated with respective critical infrastructure sectors, especially as related to executive-level risk management, common cybersecurity practices, and cybersecurity tools and metrics. This position is NOT designed for operational cybersecurity services.
Qualifications
·15 years of cybersecurity related experience in one or more of the critical infrastructure sectors
·Familiarity with the legal and regulatory cybersecurity frameworks associated with respective critical infrastructure sectors
·Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
·Knowledge of the NIST Privacy Framework
·Familiarity and knowledge of the Data Governance and Management Profile at NIST with respects to the NIST Frameworks
·Knowledge of the Privacy Workforce Taxonomy
Responsibilities
·Applies subject matter expertise to high-level analysis, and guidance development for some of the nation's top cybersecurity challenges
·Applies high-level facilitation skills within large groups in order to derive stakeholder cybersecurity imperatives
·Support the prioritization of sometimes competing cybersecurity imperatives.
·Ability to work in a team environment of Subject Matter Experts on the adjudication of framework comments
·Use your expertise and experience in providing rationale to the NIST for framework updates
·Technical writing skills to update and provide assistance with updates to NIST Frameworks
·Provide expert analysis of comments for updates to NIST Frameworks
Desired Qualifications
·Familiarity with the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST)
·Familiarity with NIST Frameworks
Additional Experience
· A Master's Degree may be substituted for 2 years’ experience
· A PhD may be substituted for 5 years’ experience
