Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical & Patient Services to join our team in Miami, FL

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage a diverse range of responsibilities within Patient and Food Services, accounting for 60% of the role's focus, including:

Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to patient services, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Lead menu development initiatives, catering to various dietary needs and preferences while adhering to nutritional guidelines.

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for the integration of MyDining and other systems, enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery.

Spearhead projects aimed at optimizing patient and food service operations, leveraging innovative solutions to enhance overall patient experience.

Provide operational guidance and support to ensure seamless day-to-day functioning of patient and food service departments.

Manage clinical responsibilities, constituting 40% of the role's focus, with a primary emphasis on operational aspects rather than direct patient care, including:

Collaborate with clinical teams to align patient and food service operations with clinical objectives and standards.

Support the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and safety.

Ensure effective communication and coordination between patient services and clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient care processes.

Lead a team of two Patient Services Managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.

Focus primarily on operational aspects and projects, with no direct involvement in patient treatment or clinical decision-making.

Act as a liaison between various departments to facilitate seamless integration and collaboration across patient services, food services, and clinical operations.

Qualifications:

Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), required

Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable, required

Three (3) years of experience in healthcare as a Registered Dietitian, which includes managerial responsibilities in clinical and patient services (2 years minimum), required

Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
