Position Summary

This position as a Business Analyst plays a pivotal role within Empower Pharmacy, facilitating strategic decision-making and operational excellence across our manufacturing operations. By analyzing sales and demand trends, you will provide critical insights that guide batch scheduling, optimize production efficiency, and identify strategic growth opportunities. Your work directly influences our ability to deliver high-quality medications efficiently, aligning perfectly with our core values of prioritizing people’s health, ensuring service excellence, maintaining top-notch quality standards, and fostering innovation in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

In addition to data analysis, you will manage essential reporting tools such as Monthly and Quarterly Operations Performance metrics and daily scorecards. These tools not only monitor our operational health but also drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing operational costs. Your role extends beyond data crunching; you will collaborate closely with sales, research and development (R&D), and product development teams to assess the feasibility and cost implications of new product introductions. This collaborative effort ensures that our product portfolio remains competitive and aligned with market demands, further solidifying Empower Pharmacy's position as a leader in pharmaceutical innovation.

As a key member of cross-functional teams, you will champion initiatives aimed at improving processes and outcomes across the organization. Your ability to generate insightful graphical data for executive presentations will play a crucial role in strategic decision-making at the highest levels. Moreover, you will actively support initiatives like right first time (RFT) and operational excellence (OPEX) reduction, contributing to our mission of continuously improving our manufacturing practices and delivering superior products to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Analyzes sales and demand trends helping operations make strategic decisions on batch cadence, scheduling, and strategic opportunities in the manufacturing operation.

Manages reporting tools such as monthly ops performance, quarterly ops performance, daily scorecards and other key point indicators (KPI) and metrics that represent manufacturing operations.

Works withsales, R&D, product developmentand other groups to determine feasibility and cost of new product introductions.

Collaborates withcross-functional teamsto improve processes and outcomes.

Generates graphical data for inclusion in senior leadership team and executive leadership team presentations

Champion RFT, OPEX reduction and other KPI teams by creating tools that allow for better messaging across the organization.

Supports sales operationsby reviewing proposals and preparing project costing.

Supports both internal and external projects (size dependent on candidate experience) resulting in larger operational scale, improved fulfilment timing, reduction in costs, etc.

Knowledge and Skills

Familiarity with PowerBI, Oracle, and Salesforce is a plus.

Previous experience managing KPI reporting tools and creating presentable communications from the data.

Keen eye for detail and the ability to conduct rigorous data analysis.

Ability to spot trends and manipulate data to find obscure issues impacting the process

Application of statistical methods to understand process variations and optimize performance.

Collaborate with partners including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Validation, Visual Inspection and Labeling, Dispensing, Warehousing, etc.

Experience and Qualifications

A bachelor’s in business analytics, computer science, engineering, mathematics or another related field.

3+ years’ experience supporting an operation using Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
