The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and visionary marketing leader to lead our marketing strategy including growth/customer acquisition, brand strategy, commercial enablement, competitive intel, and go-to-market support. This person should be highly data driven with an extensive background in paid acquisition and growth initiatives. Looking for someone who can leverage content and branding in a strategic and proven way to drive customer acquisition. This VP level position will report to Vim’s CEO and work closely with Vim’s executive team to shape overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will come from a tier one technical startup with a history of high growth and scale. They will have a strong SaaS go to market background with a highly technical foundation.
What you will do
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports our overall business objectives with a focus on demand generation, brand creation and awareness/PR, event marketing, and content marketing
Lead demand generation efforts to drive qualified leads through various digital marketing channels, including but not limited to social media, email marketing, and content marketing
Implement and optimize lead nurturing programs to convert leads into customers
Define and execute Vim’s strategic brand story to keep our marketing positioning on pace with our technological advantages as well as the growing healthcare technology market
Collaborate with product teams, including product marketing functions, on plans that effectively communicate the unique value proposition of our point of care connectivity platform to our target audience
Manage a team of marketing professionals (a global team), providing leadership and direction to ensure the team is working effectively and efficiently
Collaborate with other cross-functional teams, including sales, and customer success, to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and drive revenue growth
Manage event marketing strategy and focus as well as planning and execution
Conduct ongoing market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes, and adapt marketing strategies accordingly
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently to maximize return on investment
What You’ll Need
10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a team of marketing professionals
First hand experience being part of growth stage companies that scaled to at least $50-100 million in ARR, developing and selling SaaS enterprise products to large enterprise customers as well as to SMBs
Knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing
Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and revenue
Experience with marketing analytics and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High EQ - the right candidate must be a people-person, have strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive personal and professional relationships
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team to achieve marketing objectives
Passionate, energetic, motivated and self-driven, demonstrating a “can do” approach
Has grit! Someone who has a track record of staying and growing with strong companies
Be located in commuting distance to our amazing Vim NYC Offices located in the Chelsea area of Manhattan!
Nice to Have
Previous experience in the healthcare industry with a preference for healthcare technology/Saas products
Previous experience with value based care, interoperability, point of care solutions, electronic health records, or artificial intelligence healthcare applications
Compensation and benefits includes:
Salary Range: Annual base salary range between $180,000-$230,000 base salary
Equity Compensation: Stock options subject to the company policy and board of directors approval
