THE COMPANY

The company manufactures and distributes porcelain tile for residential and commercial applications worldwide. More than 2,500 porcelain tile patterns exist that include elegant, modern and impressive custom-made designs. The company’s exclusive glazing technology protects ceramics against scratches and chemicals such as bleach. This technology also turns tiles into three dimensional surfaces with natural stone feel. To preserve this very naturalness, they are able to reduce the grout joint from 3mm in market standards, to as low as one millimeter with their high-calibration standards. Special glazing compounds have been developed in-house to achieve brightness of 95%. The company is committed to producing surfaces that do not harm the environment at any stage of the manufacturing and maintenance process.

KEY ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION

Drive business growth within a defined region

Plan, organize and execute sales activities to meet the revenue and growth objectives

Report on sales activities to the VP of Sales as required.

Develop and maintain relationships with all key Dealers, Distributors, Architect and Design firms, Contractors, and Builders

Meet & exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Service existing accounts with the goal of nurturing relationships and increasing sales.

Identify and set up new accounts to increase market share and bolster overall sales volume.

Set up product displays at dealer / designer locations and modify as appropriate.

Work independently yet cooperatively with the company to achieve team goals and directives.

Resolve any client concerns and complaints by developing viable and win-win solutions.

Utilize CRM to track potential and upcoming projects. Maintain accurate and comprehensive account list. Update daily activities and campaigns.

Promote products at various tradeshows, industry events, participate in ongoing training with key business partners and social media platforms as approved by the company.

Keep clients informed about new products and offerings through the organization and execution of informational product presentations.

Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers. Remote home office.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Background Required

Minimum of 5+ years B2B sales experience

Minimum of 3+ years previous Tile & Stone experience

BA or BS preferred

Strong knowledge of local market with strong customer relationships in dealer/distribution channel

Strong track record of achievement as a top performer

Consultative selling approach and strategic thinking abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven record in negotiation, decision making, conflict resolution, problem solving

Technical skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and CRM (Salesforce or equivalent)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Clean driving record and larger size vehicle required to carry products displays/sample boards

Ability to lift and carry up to 65 lbs.

The compensation package includes a base salary, uncapped commission structure, and expenses
