Regeneron is a trailblazer in the Biotech industry, renowned for our commitment to innovation and excellence. We are seeking a Innovative Director of Cybersecurity Design to lead the charge in embedding security into every aspect of our operations.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking leader to champion a "security by design" philosophy throughout our organization. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that integrates security considerations from the very beginning of every project, product, and process.
Responsibilities:
Craft and lead the execution of a groundbreaking "security by design" program, fostering a culture of security awareness and proactive risk mitigation.
Partner with engineering, product development, and other key stakeholders to ensure secure design principles are embedded throughout the entire development lifecycle.
Oversee the implementation of secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments.
Advocate for and implement security best practices across all departments.
Advise on the selection and implementation of security tools and technologies that seamlessly integrate with our development processes.
Stay current on evolving security threats and trends, recommending proactive measures to stay ahead of the curve.
Collaborate on the development and delivery of security awareness training programs for employees at all levels.
Report to senior leadership on the overall cybersecurity posture and progress aligned to the Cybersecurity Framework alignment initiatives.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
Deep understanding of security by design principles and methodologies (Secure Development Lifecycle – SDL, etc.).
Experience in integrating security considerations into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong working knowledge of secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of security ownership across the organization.
Experience developing and delivering security awareness training programs.
Familiarity with relevant security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, etc.) is a plus.
