Veterinary Imaging Technician
At VSH - North County, our AAHA accredited hospital proudly serves the community by providing referral services in the specialties of cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency & critical care, interventional radiology, surgery, oncology, surgical oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, internal medicine, as well as integrative medicine such as acupuncture.
About the Job: As a Veterinary Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for:
+ Prepare and run CT scans, per clinician orders to obtain diagnostic images on canine and feline patients
+ Set image parameters and patient positioning
+ Work independently or under the guidance of the clinician to modify scan techniques for optimal image quality
+ Understand and review all medical records pertinent to patient care and image requests
+ Maintain a clean and safe CT environment by restricting personnel access and disinfecting between patients
+ Performs routine CT quality assurance reporting any concerns in a timely manner
+ Remain current in CT trends through CE attendance and certification
+ Other duties as assigned
Compensation ranges: Veterinary Assistant $17-$24 hourly, RVT $23-$33 hourly - based on experience and skillset.
About You:
+ Minimum of 2 years of veterinary clinical experience in a similar role.
+ The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community.
+ Maintain a positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.

+ Full-Time
