1. Culture, propagation and differentiation of various cell lines, including mouse and human pluripotent stem cells and HEK cells

In the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Harvard University, we research and teach how the collective behavior of molecules and cells forms the basis of life. The Ramanathan Lab is a biology research group interested in how human embryonic stem cells respond to signals to make developmental decisions. We are looking for an exceptionally motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team with experience in molecular biology and tissue culture. The individual will contribute to the intellectual development of a project, attend and present at lab meetings, and have opportunities to take part in publications. All previous technicians in the lab have been students who are taking a few years between undergraduate and graduate school, and then move on to MD or PhD programs.
