Qualified candidates will be expected to perform the following duties: Responsible for build and run of ETL process
Research and resolve production issues with ETL workflows, Perl scripts and Oracle databases
Perform root cause analysis and identify and implement corrective and preventive measures
Effectively manage multiple, competing priorities
Interface with internal customers
Be available on call (on rotation) in a 24 x 7 support role
Support Finance IT monthly financial close activities
Candidates should have at least 2 years of developement experience with Informatica. Also an understanding of PERL, Python and SQL. Application support run support and data analysis experience would also be beneficial in this role. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications. Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.
Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.

Typical Skills and Experiences: Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree. Experience: Two or more years of analysis and technology experience. Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript. Knowledge of software development lifecycle. Proven ability to tackle moderately sophisticated business and development problems. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus. Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
