Position Overview

We are seeking talented and motivated Project Support professionals at various experience levels (Entry, Mid, Senior, and Technician) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will provide crucial support in engineering disciplines, with additional expertise in military ship systems for mid and senior levels, and extensive operational experience for technician level.

Responsibilities

Entry Level:

Provide support with basic engineering disciplines understood.

Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for engineering projects.

Help prepare technical documentation, drawings, and schematics.

Support project managers and engineers in the execution of project plans and tasks.

Mid Level:

Provide support with applying engineering disciplines plus military ship systems experience and familiarization.

Assist in the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions.

Conduct technical evaluations and assessments of military ship systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Prepare and review technical reports and presentations.

Senior Level:

Lead or provide support as a master in engineering disciplines plus extensive military ship systems experience and familiarization.

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex engineering projects.

Provide expert guidance on the application of engineering principles to military ship systems.

Mentor junior engineers and project support staff.

Interface with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Technician Level:

Provide support with extensive prior military service operational experience and military ship systems familiarization.

Perform hands-on technical tasks related to the maintenance and operation of military ship systems.

Assist engineers in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the proper functioning of ship systems.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance and operational activities.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering

Entry Level:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or Associate's degree in engineering or related field preferred.

Basic understanding of engineering disciplines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Mid Level:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in project support roles with an emphasis on engineering.

Experience with military ship systems and familiarization.

Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Proficiency in engineering software and tools.

Senior Level:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering project support, with extensive military ship systems experience.

Proven leadership skills and ability to manage complex projects.

In-depth knowledge of engineering disciplines and military ship systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in advanced engineering software and tools.

Technician Level:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.

Extensive prior military service operational experience.

Familiarity with military ship systems.

Strong hands-on technical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in using technical tools and equipment.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
