Description

We are hiring a Marketing Specialist !

Ideal candidate will live in the Chicago, IL area. This position will work remotely but will need to travel to our Lincolnshire, IL office as needed.

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing workflow of a range of creative projects. Partnering with the broader marketing communications team, this role will manage workflow, timelines and coordinating deliverables of marketing creative execution. This role will project manage a variety of creative projects, including e-mail, video, photography, digital ads, and multimedia campaigns. This role will also provide executional support to e-commerce and digital marketing teams to ensure assets are scheduled to be delivered on time and in alignment with plans.

Essential responsibilities:

•Responsible for management of marketing plan timelines; project initiation, planning, and implementation schedules.

•Assesses and prioritizes marketing material/project requests for creative teams.

•Build and manage project timelines to ensure that key stakeholders are informed of key milestones and deliverables, informed of progress-to-date, and next steps of all relevant projects and workstreams.

•Address project timelines conflicts to ensure balanced low of deliverables across the marcom team.

•Develop editorial calendar that maps to the key milestones and deliverables that will drive the communication assets to the right audience at the right time.

•Act as "point-person" on all major marcom projects/requests and handle duties such as conducting intake meetings, maintain project notes, and document scope/revisions.

•Coordinate project kick-off and subsequent team meetings, under marcom leadership guidance to ensure open and complete visibility into the status of projects.

•Serve as administrative lead for the ongoing management of the Digital Asset Management tool, updating and archiving images as well as managing tagging to improve user experience.

•Support E-Commerce manager in auditing and tracking issues with Amazon site placements, opening and monitoring tickets and scheduling content updates for product listings.

•Supporting website team in making baseline file updates to the website - loading pdfs and other file assets as directed.

•Supporting Social Media team in scheduling approved social posts according to editorial calendars.

•Manage the internal approval process for assets.

•Source pricing and scheduling of external digital ads with partner associations and vendors.

•Publish project status to key stakeholders in Marketing on a consistent basis.

•Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills

•Proficiency in Microsoft systems is required.

•Effective, and clear oral and written communication

•Experience developing and executing operational solutions that are simple and scalable for creative teams.

•Strong team player, willing and able to step in, roll up your sleeves, and do the work.

•Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in collaborative, scale-up environment focused on experimentation.

•Analytical and critical thinking skill sets needed to manage marketing materials that include technical specifications.

•Experience with Smart Sheets, HubSpot and any digital asset management system is preferred.
