Oversees the daily maintenance, operation, and repair of the campus building automation system. Monitors and troubleshoots system alarms. Inspects and improves the efficiency in equipment. Inspects work performed by contractors and provides staff training. Assigns work schedules to utilities station operators. Coordinates utilities operations with Energy Plant. Coordinates with other departments for campus shut downs. Reviews mechanical system drawings and specifications. Assists EMS Supervisor with annual maintenance contracts and warranties. Maintains a flexible work schedule including being on-call.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of experience managing building automation systems or closely related experience with knowledge in HVAC equipment, water and/or air flows/air balances. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Vocational/Technical Diploma
Some College/Associate’s Degree
Bachelor’s Degree
Building Automation Systems Certification
