On our team, you'll translate your customer’s sof tware needs and future goals into a plan by developing and implementing effective sof tware architecture, including design, development, maintenance, and operations. You’ll use the latest sof tware control systems, including Java frameworks, AWS, Azure, and GCP specific microservices and tools to design an effective sof tware architecture. Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you lead the building of sof tware solutions for analytics workspace and data-sharing platforms using Agile and DevSecOps development.

In this role, you’ll directly impact a federal health agency's mission by providing real-time solutions to create or improve a robust data-sharing platform. With your advanced te chn ical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, you’ll guide a team that develops the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

8+ years of experience with c ond ucting sof tware process analysis, management, modeling, and development

Experience with orchestrating complex programs, managing sof tware and data components integration, and developing their structure and behavior

Experience with using MS Office suite of tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Knowledge of project management principles, including Agile methodology

Ability to c ond uct research, gather information through interviews, understand client business and te chn ical requirements, synthesize findings, apply analytic expertise to derive insights that contribute to the development of client solutions, and present complex data effectively

Ability to manage and assist in the integration, structuring, and behavioral development of sof tware and data components

Ability to articulate complex te chn ical information in an easy-to-understand manner to diverse audiences, including non-te chn ical team members and government stakeholders, to align strategic objectives with policy compliance

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience in working directly with Air Education and Training Command headquarters or numbered Air Force staff

Experience with assisting clients in shaping te chn ical standards for sof tware and data components into a functional program

Experience with Java, Python, C#, C / C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal

Knowledge of project management principles, including the Agile methodology

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices as they pertain to DoD, RMF, SAF, and HAF policies

Ability to work with local clients and occasional presentations to senior leadership regarding task progress, recommendations, and strategy on a daily basis

Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Work Model
