Job Description

About the role Your primary responsibility will be to perform administrative duties for the VP, Head of Content, Roku Media. The ideal candidate will become a valued member of the team, ensuring the smooth running of the group while supporting the VP and their team. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to make contextually astute decisions is key, as is collaborating and participating in a wide variety of projects. You need to be proactive and collaborative with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced media environment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will possess a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

For California Only – The estimated annual salary for this position is between $101,000 and $125,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

Responsibilities Provide direct support to the VP, Head of Content, Roku Media.

Act as a trusted partner to ensure company and team goals and objectives are accomplished and operations run efficiently.

Recognize competing priorities from both external and internal stakeholders to optimize the VP’s time with minimal input.

Manage complex calendar, meeting logistics, document preparation, expense reporting, travel accommodations, and miscellaneous administrative functions.

Coordinate and prioritize busy schedules, managing calendars and ensuring travel arrangements meet business and personal priorities.

Track, monitor, and guide progress of projects and action items to keep them on course.

Conduct research as needed for special projects, utilizing knowledge of the company’s business goals.

Handle sensitive situations with professionalism, confidentiality, and good judgment.

Act as a liaison for the VP’s direct reports, cross‑functional stakeholders, company administrative staff, and executive staff as necessary.

Coordinate meetings with Roku content partners and other outside parties, including coordinating travel, greeting guests, managing meeting setup, food & beverage, etc.

Organize business meals and other events as necessary (reservations, travel, etc.).

Ensure meetings are effective by managing attendance, setup, minutes, and tracking actions.

Qualifications 5‑10 years of experience working as an Executive Administrative Assistant, ideally in media, advertising, or technology‑based companies.

Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects, track issues, and follow up independently.

Ability to manage meetings and prepare presentations.

High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Team‑player mentality while being adaptable and enjoying a challenge.

Comfortable working at all levels of the company across multiple locations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
