Description
SUMMARY
As a Senior Account Executive, you will work alongside the Skykit sales team to evangelize and
sell Skykit. You will run Skykit's sales process with a focus on the evaluation and closing stages.
As is expected for everyone at Skykit, this role supports colleagues in creating an environment
where employees of all backgrounds can thrive.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Drive direct end-user new sales and support channel sales opportunities.
•Achieve and exceed quarterly goals.
•Run an efficient sales cycle.
•Plan target account penetration strategies and tactics.
•Keep thorough records of customer interactions and provide sales projections on a weekly
basis.
•Represent Skykit at trade shows and industry events.
•Ensure each qualified lead or account is established within the Customer Relationship
Management system(CRM) system with the appropriate referral, marketing or other
tracking codes along with all other required information, document customer and contact
information in real time
•Develop and execute a solution-oriented business plan that will achieve sales quota and
budget as defined by the company
•Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, product
demonstrations, partnerships, conferences & events
•Accountable to achieve 80% or greater of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas
•Effectively negotiate price, delivery, and policies and procedures to generate profits and
greater customer satisfaction
•Keep up to date on product features, advantages, benefits, and selling points for effective
communication
•Assist in the development and creation of new sales and marketing ideas
•Become an expert within the Skykit solutions and able to successfully demonstrate the
product and answer questions about the product with prospective clients
•Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
•BA/BS preferred
•Experience selling SaaS / Cloud-based solutions. 5 year's service sales experience of
multiple annual 6 figure transactions required.
•Proven experience reporting and consistently managing accurate pipelines and (5+ years)
Proven performance in managing and closing complex sales (5+ years)
•Proven experience developing trusted business relationships with leadership teams and
decision-makers (5+ years)
•Highly motivated; acts as an entrepreneur
•Proven experience consistently delivering revenue results (Quarterly and Annually)
•Candidate should be comfortable with goal setting
•Candidate should have experience finding and targeting opportunities, responding to
proposals (RFP's & RFI's), gaining commitment from decision makers and closing.
•Candidate should have an existing sales methodology that can support complex enterprise
sales
•Strong Solution Selling and presentation skills
•Proven track record of professional services sales, preferably with enterprise accounts
•Outstanding prospecting skills
•Strong understanding of complex sales processes.
