Technical Support Analyst
This is a full-time position located in the IT Department with variable flexible hours to include after-hours and weekends and holidays as required, with benefits after successful completion of a sixty (60) day introductory period. This is a promotional opportunity and is an internal/external recruitment.
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Global IT Director, provide after-hours and weekend onsite technical expertise for Graceland's computers, printers, and other computer-related peripherals.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Provides on-site systems technical support to resolve issues related to passive and active system hardware, IP address problems, network connection problems.
Maintain and upgrade end-users computers, printers, and other stand alone or networked devices.
Maintain network security integrity through reset and access modifications of Domain, Email, and shared access accounts.
Monitor, log and respond to Help Desk Voice & Email queues, resolving issues and documenting solutions in the Service Request and Change Management tracking system based upon department policies and procedures.
Maintains accurate serial number inventories on network computer equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : After Hours and Weekend working schedule; Ability to stoop, reach, walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time; use hands to handle objects, tools or controls, climb ladders, and move fixtures; good, clear speaking voice essential to communication both in person and on the telephone; ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
