This individual will ensure revenue is booked correctly and in a timely manner. In addition to the monthly book close process, this individual will also review contracts, both during the negotiation stage and after the contract is signed. Aside from their revenue responsibilities, they will also be exposed to new accounting standards and advanced accounting research topics on complex transactions that will allow for continued learning and development of your skills.

Responsibilities:
Revenue & Cash Optimization:
Oversee and maintain billable time and expense submission and approval process.
Own the North America billing function including the process of bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly client invoicing.
Support client and internal questions and concerns surrounding invoicing, POs, budget, and expenses.
Follow up on overdue AR to help optimize collections, improve DSO.
Accounting:
Responsible for project creation (new client additions) and chart of account maintenance.
Responsible for new employee and contractor setup within ERP.
Ensure revenues are recognized in compliance with U.S. GAAP/ ASC 606
Assist in the month end close process, including journal entries and validation / reconciliations.
Assist with completion of internal and external audits.
Responsible for expense accrual related to month end close.
Managing:
Oversee a team that is responsible for invoicing, project creation, resource creation and project additions.
Collaborate with other accounting and finance teams to work towards common goals.
Required Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA or MBA a plus
4+ years of progressive experience in accounting
Experience in Account Receivable/Collections/Customer Profitability Analysis.
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with ERP systems: Oracle ERP and Anaplan a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to work in a team-oriented environment.
