LHH is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our client full-time opportunity in Sacramento, CA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, ensuring that software meets and exceeds expectations.
Basic Function :
The Business Analyst will be responsible for researching and defining requirements that align with business initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, department heads, subject matter experts, vendors, and software engineers. The Business Analyst will ensure that requirements are clearly translated, organized, and tracked throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining the highest quality standards.
Essential Responsibilities and Principal Accountabilities :
Requirement Research and Validation :
Collaborate with stakeholders, department heads, and subject matter experts to gather and validate requirements, ensuring they align with business initiatives.
Conduct comprehensive research to ensure requirements are feasible and beneficial for the business.
Requirement Translation and Organization :
Work closely with vendors and the Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr TPM) to translate business requirements into detailed, actionable plans.
Organize and track requirements, ensuring they are clearly documented and communicated to all relevant parties.
Collaboration with Software Engineers :
Partner with software engineers to evaluate the feasibility of requirements, ensuring they are practical and achievable.
Maintain open communication with the engineering team to facilitate smooth transitions from requirements gathering to development.
Quality Control and Assurance :
Participate in quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet the required standards.
Conduct thorough reviews and testing to maintain the integrity and quality of the final product.

Qualifications : Education :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of three years of proven experience in a business analysis or similar role.
Certifications :
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus
Technical Skills :
Proficient in requirements gathering and documentation.
Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
Familiarity with project management tools and software.
Work Environment : The role is primarily office-based, with occasional exposure to a variety of work environments depending on project needs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Physical Demands : Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands. Occasionally required to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
Pay Details: $93,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
