Job Summary:

As a Catering & Events Manager at GAPCo, you will lead the team to success through decisive leadership in food, beverage, and service. Your role is pivotal in setting the standard for genuine hospitality consistent with our brand ethos. Responsibilities include:

Manage all aspects of catering orders, from initial inquiry to delivery, including menu selection, pricing, logistics, and execution.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless coordination and exceed expectations.

Plan, organize, and execute on-site and off-site events, such as corporate functions and private events.

Help coordinate staffing needs for events in partnership with store General Manager.

Work with stores to ensure quality and consistency in food.

Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards of quality.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and guest preferences to continuously improve our catering offerings.

Handle inquiries, bookings, and guest service issues promptly and professionally, providing timely responses and solutions.

Maintain accurate records of catering orders, event details, and guest information using our management systems.

Uphold food safety standards and compliance with health regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in catering and event management, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-centric approach.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.

Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the business.

A passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences for guests.
