Job Description Job Description Position Summary:
Oversees warehouse management processes and works with internal and external stakeholders on continuous process improvement projects, including but not limited to receiving, material handling, shipping, and reverse logistics. Reports to the head of Supply Chain.
Essential Functions:
Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space.
Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials.
Manage cycle count and annual physical count processes and drive inventory control improvements.
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
Project management to support warehouse and Logistics continuous improvement.
International cargo handling, between Asia and US, imports/exports, US Customs
Education, Training, and Experience:
Project management experience required, PMP certified preferred.
Data analysis and critical thinking skills
Material handling improvement implementation experiences
5+ years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
1 - 3 years managerial experience preferred
Good knowledge of warehouse and Logistics processes, supply chain related education and certificate a plus.
Forklift license required.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Physical and Environmental Considerations:
Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
Required use of standard office equipment including laptop, phone, copier, etc.
Typical office environment.
Must be able to walk through the factory environment safely.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
May be involved in light rigging operations.
Must be able to work in confined spaces and spaces which require the use of a harness.
