The Sales Director, Americas is responsible for leading the Energy+ direct sales organization to meet or exceed orders, revenue, and profitability objectives and to achieve sustainable, profitable year-over-year growth through strategic planning, building organizational strength, and driving process improvements that support selling activities. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the development and deployment of the Energy+ growth strategy and will ensure that commercial business plans are aligned to growth targets.

This position is part of the Energy+ commercial team and will be located in the US, with a preference in the Houston (remote) or Deland (office) areas.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Provide overall input and leadership for the regional sales activities by contributing to the planning and recommendation of sales strategies to achieve maximum penetration consistent with Pall 's financial, tactical and strategic growth targets.

Manage and analyze market intelligence data to ensure market opportunities are capitalized on as they occur and minimize the effects of competitive activity in close cooperation with Global Sales and Marketing.

Through critical insight on customer processes, support team to formulate strategies to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customers' needs and expectations and simultaneously expand Energy+'s business by gaining market share in existing and new accounts as well as new Markets such as Green Energy.

Communicate business strategy and tactics clearly to your team and provide feedback to colleagues, the management team and other Pall teams on progress, opportunities and challenges in the region.

Demonstrated expertise with the Danaher Business Systems tools or similar systems, such Problem-Solving Process (PSP) and using Voice of Customer to address business issues, use of Kaizen Tools and introduction of standard work to continuously improve business processes and results.

Responsible for talent management to ensure the continued development for direct reports. Partner closely with the human resources organization in developing organizational capabilities through succession planning, organizational assessment, identification of key skill gaps, talent acquisition (in line with our diverse hiring playbook) and talent development strategies that link with business goals.

Create trusted relationships with your team members; Understand what they value and support them in achieving their development goals. Coach the team to enhance their network and identify challenging / stretch roles or projects to support career progression.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, sales or related area required. MBA preferred.

4+ years of sales experience selling consultative complex services or solutions.

4+ years of Team Leader experience (managing direct and indirect teams of 25 +)

Extensive sales experience with a proven record of accomplishment and supervising a multi-culture team in a related field

Strategic expertise in Go-to-Market sales strategies, customer support, and business development

Basic knowledge in contract review along with experience in contract negotiation.

Financial acumen in delivering business results by overseeing budgeting, sales funnel management, financial planning, and reporting

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Over 10 years in sales management experience

2+ years experience in Energy+ markets

The salary range for this role is 175-215k USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
