Assist project managers in the execution of projects. Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a directly related field plus three (3) years of electric utility operations, planning, or consulting experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a directly related field plus two (2) years of electric utility operations, planning or consulting experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years of electric utility operations, planning, or consulting experience.
Must have one (1) year of experience with the following:
Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, & Powerpoint.
Power flow modeling software, including Synergi, CYME, Windmil, SKM, ETAP, OpenDSS or Aspen.
Evaluating system performance, simulation of power flows, and developing solutions and upgrades of electric distribution facilities.
Consulting services to investor-owned electric utilities, municipal electric utilities, or electric cooperatives.
Protection and coordination of electric systems.
Power system planning and operations.
Telecommuting is allowed up to 30 days per year. Domestic travel required up to 15% for internal meetings, client kick off meetings and final presentations.
